CLFP will hold its Fall Board of Directors Meeting on October 24 at Wine & Roses in Lodi, CA. The meeting is open to all CLFP board members and alternates.
Nora Sheriff with the Buchalter Law Firm will be the featured guest speaker. Sheriff is an expert on energy policy and rates. She will discuss the ongoing issues related to PG&E’s bankruptcy and wildfire litigation’s impact on industrial ratepayers.
The CLFP Executive Committee will meet in the morning, followed by lunch and the Business Session, which will include Sheriff's presentation, a review of CLFP's 2019-20 Scholarship Program, presentation of a proposed 2020 budget and a CLFP Government Affairs report on legislative and regulatory issues affecting California's food processing industry.
CLFP's board of directors meets three times a year - in the fall, at the Food Processing Expo and in the spring, which is the annual board of directors meeting.
