Trudi Hughes, President & CEO, presented the Board with her vision going into 2024 and beyond for CLFP which is focused on opportunities to better serve CLFP’s membership by expanding its government affairs and advocacy programs as well as industry education and networking opportunities.
Rachael Quinn with 3P Partners was a guest speaker and discussed the main challenges of doing business in California. Stephanie Jung, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, also spoke about collaborating with food producer members on workforce development.
Financial reports were reviewed and CLFP government affairs reports on legislative and regulatory issues were presented by Fisher Phillips and Samson Advisors.
The next board of directors meeting will be held February 13th during the Food Processing Expo 2024.
