The association’s membership is comprised of major companies in the food and beverages industry in Chile. The delegation was led by AB Chile President, Mr. Gonzalo Uriarte, a lawyer and former congressman and senator in Chile. Opportunities for future collaboration were discussed.

California lawmakers wrapped up the 2023 legislative session on September 14. With over 2,600 bills introduced this session, hundreds still await the governor’s signature. Several CLFP priority opposed bills passed in the closing days of session and are now awaiting action by the Governor. These bills, if signed, will increase costs and create more liability for the food processing industry.
