Registration is now open for Food Processing Expo 2018 to be held February 21-22 at the Sacramento Convention Center. Discover What’s New is the theme of the Expo, which is the largest event of its kind in California. The Expo features a wide variety of industry workshops and an expansive trade show floor that keeps growing each year.
Food waste and the conversion of by-products into commercially viable products are emerging issues in food processing. The Cal Poly College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences will hold a Sacramento Valley Alumni and Supporters Reception on Wednesday, November 8, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Sutter Club.
CLFP was actively engaged in many critical policy issues during the end of the legislative session, which adjourned September 16. These issues included energy, federal regulations, labor, water and greenhouse gas reduction fund expenditures.
