President Trump signed proclamations on March 8 imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, stating that the tariffs were designed to protect American industries. In response to the tariffs, China has announced that it will retaliate by imposing tariffs on 130 products imported from the U.S., including many agricultural products.
