The Cal/OSHA Standards Board has voted to “re-adopt” the COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Stands (ETS) for a second time, which will be in effect from January 14 through the middle of April. This extends most of the provisions of the ETS by another 90 days but also makes some significant changes to the ETS – including bringing back some testing, social distancing and face covering requirements even for fully vaccinated employees in certain circumstances. Fisher Phllips will hold a webinar on January 5 to provide addiitional information about the ETS.
