Meet the Speakers!

Dr. Louis DeCaro

Dr. Louis J. DeCaro is a Podiatric Physician who specializes in pediatrics with a special interest in sports medicine and biomechanics for both adults and pediatrics. Dr. DeCaro is President and fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics (ACFAP). Dr. DeCaro is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He also shares a patent on foot types.

He is in private practice in West Hatfield and a member of the surgical & medical staff at Franklin Medical Center as well as Holyoke Medical Center. In 2017, Podiatry Management Magazine named Dr. DeCaro one of the most influential podiatrists in the country. During 2018 he has been granted the prestigious honor of becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow. As well during 2018 he was honored with being asked to give the Commencement Address for his Podiatric Alma Mater Barry University. Learn more about him here.

 

Tina Del Buono

Tina Del Buono has been a practice manager for 23 years.  She has lectured nationally on Practical Practice Management for the past 18 years and is a Consultant/Coach with Top Practices Virtual Practice Management Institute. Tina specilaizes in Complete Practice Efficiencies, Team building, Staffing issues, Physician/staff communications, Manager mentoring, AR, collection forensics, and Practice building protocols.  

Tina has written over 400 articles on practice management and understands what you envision your practice to be and getting it there can be challenging.  She has developed GPS –Global Practice Systems to create the road map to get your practice from where it is now to where you want it to be, in small practical, achievable steps.  She is a past President and past Scientific Chair of the ASPMA.  She currently lectures with the AAPPM and is the Scientific Chair for the Western Foot and Ankle Conference assistant programs.

	Andre Durie

 

Andre Durie is a retired Professional Athlete in the CFL and new small business owner with a demonstrated history of working within social development industry. Possessing experience in Charitable Work, Coaching, Events, Athletics and Public Speaking, Entrepreneurship goals have been a new challenge of mine. Andre attended York University and graduated with a major in Sociology.

 

 

 

	Tom Fiser

Tom Fiser is a Registered Nurse graduated from Mohawk College and Past president of Ontario Independent Practice Nurses Interest Group.  He has worked in many different environments from Auto Repair, Occupational Health and Safety, teaching courses in health and safety as well as health care. Most recently in 2019 Tom has been to Germany and was trained by Neughboug Skin care as an instructor for Onyfix and Podoexpert. For the last 16 years, he has owed & operated a busy foot care practice where for the last 2 years has incorporated Onyfix and Podoexpert into his practice for treating ingrown/involuted toenails as well as various skin conditions.  Both he and his clinic have received many readers choice awards over the years. Rushing River

Bree Wright, RN, FCN is the owner of Heel Your Sole Foot Care. She is an advanced foot care nurse with 20 years of experience and the Provincial Adviser for Saskatchewan for the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses. She currently runs a successful nursing foot care business that includes many foot care clinics in the Moose Jaw and Regina areas.
