Wounds Canada Conference!

Dr. Helen Rees and Stephanie Playford attended the recent Wounds Canada Conference in London, ON. Their representation of the CFPM was invaluable, particularly in the efforts to empower colleagues and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to enhance their practice in caring for individuals with foot wounds or those at risk of developing them.

During the conference, they participated in a roundtable discussion focused on the Canadian DFU Policy Roundtable: Moving Recommendations to Action, where their insights were instrumental in advancing policy improvements in Canada.

Additionally, the CFPM had a booth at the conference, showcasing the importance of podiatry/chiropody within the multidisciplinary landscape. It was fantastic to see our presence acknowledged and appreciated.
