Juvenile osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) of the talus is a rare condition in the pediatric population, thus literature on this condition is minimal. Speakers: Dr. Helen Rees Dr. Helen Rees is a licensed New Brunswick Podiatrist. She graduated from the University of Southampton, England, in June 2011 with a BSc(hons) in Podiatry. Helen is the sole proprietor of Atlantic Podiatry in New Brunswick. She also works for Horizon Health as part of the High-Risk Diabetes Foot clinic team. Dr. Rees is a past president of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine and has spoken at multiple conferences around the world. Dr. Royden Stanford Graduating from Brigham Young University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and then obtaining his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2008, Dr. Stanford completed residency and held many positions in Maryland and Tennessee before returning to his routes in Langley, British Columbia. Dr. Stanford has extensive training in biomechanics and orthotics, pediatric foot and ankle conditions, foot surgery, dermatology of the skin and nails, trauma, and injuries. Jonathan Tomines Graduating from the University of Waterloo receiving a degree in Biomedical Science and then obtaining his Graduate Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences specializing in Chiropody from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences, Jonathan Tomines continued the family tradition, working in the same practice as his father did for 30 years. Jonathan is also well known for his YouTube Channel “The Toe Bro,” where he as over a million subscribers internationally and over 384 million views to date.
