We are excited to share that CFPM was represented at the Royal College of Podiatry Annual Conference in Harrogate, UK by Stephanie Playford (President), Jenny Sinclair (Past President), and Helen Rees (Director).
As part of the event, we were invited to participate in a round table discussion on global and international podiatry. This provided an excellent opportunity to gain insights into podiatry practices from around the world, exchange knowledge, and explore new perspectives.
The conference offered numerous networking opportunities, allowing us to build valuable international relationships and strengthen ties within the global podiatry community.
Attending such international meetings is crucial for staying at the forefront of the profession, learning from global practices, and continuing to improve the quality of podiatric care.
A heartfelt thank you to the Royal College of Podiatry for their ongoing support and for inviting us to these incredible events.

These authors summarize recent midsole technologies to better educate patients to pick the right shoe for their foot type, comfort level, pathology, and loading pattern; discuss possible benefits of shoe rotations; and help achieve better adherence with the treatment plan.

Job Description / Duties
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counselling and other primary clinical foot care activities to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
• Provide thorough and timely foot care for our clients which includes but not limited to: routine foot health checks and foot care; wound care and offloading techniques; toenail surgery interventions; verrucae treatments; compression stocking therapy; shoe fitting &modifications; perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe and modify custom foot orthoses.
• Committed to ongoing clinical education, training and upkeep of administrative items
• Daily completion of patient charting and documentation.
• Make referrals to internal and external services and advocate on behalf of clients as appropriate
• Participate in occasional team and staff meetings
• Maintain competence and license to practice as required

Qualifications / Required Skills
• License/registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario with current CPR and basic first aid
• No de-listings from insurance companies and must hold valid Professional liability insurance

· 60/40 % Split for 1.5 years to start you off (yes, you get 60% from all patients you treat). We both work. I will try to pass many of my own and new patients to towards you.
