What do we do?
The Membership Committee is responsible for member recruitment, member engagement, and member retention within the MPI-Chicagoland Area Chapter. Some members like to think of us as the “welcoming committee.” Our goal is to create an environment where non-members and members can make connections, which demonstrates the advantage of joining MPI.
In addition, the committee is also responsible for hosting two informal member mixers a year. However, since the events have been such a success, we are hosting a third event on October 16!
Want to join?
The Membership Committee can use any kind of help, but particularly with member retention. We want to make sure we are doing our part as a committee and as an organization to inform our members on how to make the most of what MPI has to offer!
We meet once a month, alternating between in-person meetings and virtual meetings.
