What is your committee responsible for?
Marcomm supports every committee of MPICAC by promoting events, membership campaigns, and educational offerings through social media, email, and website communications.
How often does your committee meet?
On the second Wednesday of each month from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. CDT.
What are some tasks people do for your committee?
Design social posts and campaigns, work with other committees to strategize and plan future marketing efforts, manage all MPICAC social channels, and gather content for the MPICAC monthly newsletter.
What makes your committee fun or stand out? The 2020-2021 Marcomm Committee was honored to be awarded Committee of the Year at the Annual Awards & Recognition Ceremony last month! Each one of our committee members has shown incredible dedication and commitment to the chapter this past year, and we are grateful to serve alongside them.
· Social Media Co-Chair: Oversees weekly social media posts and manages Hootsuite scheduling. (approx. 2-3 hours/week commitment)
· Newsletter Liaison: Manages and curates content for monthly newsletter. (approx.. 2-4 hours/month commitment)
· Content Curator / Graphic Design (Canva): Utilize MPI Canva account to create graphics for various events, campaigns, or educational offerings to be shared with the MPICAC community. (varies, approx. 2-5 hours/month commitment)
· Committee Liaison (multiple positions): Educate other MPI Committees on how to engage marketing, assist with marketing ideation, and ensure timelines and deadlines are being met. (approx. 1-3 hours/month commitment, additional leading up to event date)
