Next week, the Health Information Survey Series finale webinar titled, "The IT Factor: Years of Study Reveal Healthcare Trends" will take place. This complimentary session will examine how health information technology (health IT) factors are influencing the practice of case management and population health management programs. CMSA is a co-sponsor of the bi-annual research project and webinar series. The research team has created a longitudinal analysis of all three surveys and will be highlighting insights into the evolution of health IT applications and its impact on case managers and providers.

The goal of the Health Information Survey Series and the subsequent research reports and webinars was to help understand trends related to the integration of case management and electronic medical record applications. By comparing the results of the bi-annual surveys, we gained a better understanding of how emerging information technology applications have changed the practice of care management over the past few years and how it may affect it even more in the near future.
