WINNER OF THE 2022 AWARD OF EXCELLENCE FOR CHAPTER REVITALIZATION: HOUSTON/GULF COAST CHAPTER OF THE CMSA

The Chapter Revitalization Award, also known as The Phoenix, is awarded to the chapter that has accomplished the most significant turnaround, from decline to new life. Prior to the revitalization of Houston/Gulf Coast, membership had declined, board members had resigned, no education was being offered, conferences had to be cancelled, and there was no vendor participation.

Now, membership has doubled and they are growing and recruiting. They now have a sustainable board with members who have knowledge of technology. Marketing materials have been amplified with QR codes to take non-members directly to their website to join. Consistent monthly educational events with sponsorship by vendors have been implemented to provide benefits to members at the local level. Congratulations, CMSA Greater Houston-Gulf Coast Chapter!
