As we step into 2025, I hope you rang in the new year with enthusiasm, excitement and a sense of possibility. The beginning of a new year is always an exciting time, a chance to reflect, reset and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. It’s an honor to serve as your president, and I’m grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me to lead this incredible, dedicated community of case managers.

CMSA remains at the forefront of advancing case management practice, fostering collaboration across disciplines and advocating for the highest standards of care. Our mission is more vital than ever, and your engagement and passion are what fuel our success.

Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be a dynamic year for CMSA. Here are just a few highlights we can anticipate:

Advocacy Efforts: Advocacy remains a cornerstone of CMSA’s mission. In 2025, we’ll continue championing policies and initiatives that support the profession of case management and improve access to quality care for all. Your voice is critical in these efforts, and we’re committed to equipping you with the tools and resources to engage effectively with legislators and healthcare leaders.

Community and Networking: Strengthening connections within our membership is another key focus this year. CMSA will be expanding opportunities for collaboration, networking and idea-sharing, helping you build meaningful relationships with peers who share your passion for excellence in care.

As we embark on this journey together, I encourage you to remain engaged, share your ideas and take full advantage of the resources CMSA provides. Together, we can achieve extraordinary things for our profession and the patients, families and communities we serve.

These awards celebrate chapters that make a measurable impact through achievements in educational programming, advocacy, membership development, and more.

A nomination is more than recognition — it’s an opportunity to showcase your chapter’s initiatives on a national platform. Whether your team has implemented cutting-edge educational events, spearheaded advocacy campaigns or revitalized your chapter’s membership, the CEIA offers a chance to celebrate your collective achievements. By nominating your chapter, you inspire others in the case management community while strengthening your chapter’s reputation as a leader in the field.
