For those who miss snowstorms, I just got back from NPMA Legislative Day in Washington, D.C., with a small contingent of PCOC members including President Mike Bullert. It was a great opportunity to sit down with fellow pest professionals from all over the country to discuss key policy issues affecting our industry. It was the 30th anniversary of Leg Day, with a crowd of about 400 people. The four-day workshop began with the NPMA Board of Directors Meeting and ended with many of us spending time on Capitol Hill with our elected representatives in the U.S. House Representatives and Senate to discuss key topics. In between, we attended meetings on policy, marketing and business development, and we listened to distinguished speakers who discussed the political lay of the land in the nation’s capital. NPMA is a great resource, and it was time well spent. The good news is that all PCOC members are automatically members of NPMA. Remember, PCOC Legislative Days are soon approaching on April 4-5 in Sacramento. Hope to see you all there!

Chris Reardon
PCOC's Executive Vice President
