Just wanted to send a shout-out to all those who attended the PCOC Legislative Days on March 7th and 8th. It wasn't the traditional meeting because of COVID and Capitol office construction, but it still allowed for our members to meet and talk about issues important in the coming year.

The exciting thing that came out of the board meeting was the kickoff of our Rats of California media campaign led by ARC Strategies and Grassroots Lab. The focus of outreach now will be rodent control, public health impacts and the effects COVID has had on movement of rats into suburban communities. This will primarily be a social media campaign, spanning Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, aimed at educating our local elected officials all over the state. We look forward to your help and participation in the weeks and months ahead! The campaign officially launched on Tuesday, March 8th, and we’ve already been encouraged by the activity generated by our media rollout.

Please visit our website at RatsofCalifornia.com and make sure to send any and all clips of rodents that you or your teams may have to Blair Smith at bbrookes@clarkpest.com.
