President's Message - Dave Watkins

We recently held our first District Chairs meeting via Zoom, where we had an in-depth discussion about what’s working well and where additional support is needed. I’m truly inspired by the dedication and innovation our District Chairs are bringing to the table. They’re not just meeting the needs of our members and affiliates—they’re going above and beyond to create value. From organizing comprehensive training days that keep our professionals at the top of their game to hosting engaging golf tournaments, tailgates at Padres games, and other events that foster community, our districts are buzzing with activity and enthusiasm. This collaboration and forward-thinking approach make me very optimistic about our association's future.

In addition, we’ve just convened our first Board of Directors meeting with the new board. This meeting was a significant step forward, and I’m eager to share more details about the initiatives and goals we’ve set. Stay tuned for updates on how we plan to enhance our association’s impact and support for our members. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Board of Directors meeting in Burbank, September 18-20!
