Join the CSCMP Young Professionals (YP) Committee

Are you a motivated young professional ready to expand your career horizons and join one of the highest visibility committees at the most powerful association in supply chain management?

If so, we'd like to invite you join the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Young Professionals Committee (YPC). 

The YPC is seeking two to four individuals to join the committee as members-at-large to help grow young professional membership and provide value for current young professional members.

Serving on a CSCMP committee is a member-only benefit.

You must be a CSCMP member to submit your application. If you're not currently a member, but are interested in joining the YPC, please complete your membership here. You must be 32 years of age or younger to be considered a Young Professional Member.

Please note that CSCMP members with a history of CSCMP event attendance (local roundtable, CSCMP EDGE Conference, etc.) or volunteer participation will receive first preference.

If the committee accepts your application, please mark your calendar for the first committee meeting April 12-14, 2018 at CSCMP Headquarters, Lombard, IL. This meeting is a prime opportunity for you to meet your peers face-to-face, and foster professional and personal connections that will impact you for years to come.

Simply complete the Online CSCMP Form by March 9, 2018 at 11:59 pm CT and you will receive a phone call from a committee member to discuss your application.   

Mission and Goals

The Young Professionals Committee (YPC) was established in 2008 with a focus on developing a closer relationship between CSCMP and young professionals. The YPC is tasked with identifying and providing tools critical to young professional's development and creating opportunities for young professionals to interact with today's supply chain leaders. The goals of the YPC is to increase the membership of young professionals working in all areas of supply chain management and increase the retention rate of student members as they transition to full time employment in the supply chain industry.
