OUR HISTORY

It was in 1972 when Ideal Knitwear opened for business with one knitting machine and a dream. By 1987, Ideal is capable of producing quantities of 1,300,000 hats and scarves for the '88 Calgary Winter Olympics. On into the new millennium, Ideal establishes an importing network to help supply demand.

Domestically, it now operates 100 knitting and sewing machines and 100 workers, supplying North America's promotional Industry and solidifying itself as one of Canada's great manufacturing success stories.
