Flavour first opened its doors in downtown Victoria in 2003. Beginning as a vintage and secondhand store, it slowly expanded to include new clothing and accessories.

After ten years in business, we opened 8th & Main in Vancouver''s Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Bolstered by a positive response from the community, we opened a second Vancouver location on Granville Street shortly after.

Our company continues to operate around the core values it was founded with: to provide people with a broad selection of affordable clothing in a friendly and open environment.

In 1984 we started as a small neighborhood bike shop in Toronto, Ontario. As we have grown to include hockey, curling, baseball and so much more, we cannot thank the community enough for their continued support of our locally owned family business.

Hockey Lion Inc. opened its first store in Richmond Hill, Ontario in September 2011 (followed by Markham and Schomberg locations) with a goal of making world-class hockey gear and services accessible to Canadians. Located 20 minutes outside of Toronto, it is our passion for the game that motivates us to provide uncompromising service to hockey players of all ages.

We know that the "perfect fit” goes beyond just the size you wear. We’ll strive to understand your exact needs – from the flex of your stick to the weight of your skate. We're driven by a passion for improving every single player that walks into our stores.

At Hockey Lion, customer service doesn’t end when the sale is made. It is our goal to create and foster long-term relationships that allow us to grow with the athlete and, in turn, offer unmatched, ultra-personalized service.

CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF TECNICA GROUP

In 1930 Oreste Zanatta founded a small shop focused on working boots production, that, thanks to his son Giancarlo Zanatta's efforts and remarkable growth as a craftman-entrepreneur, officially became in 1960 the Calzaturificio Tecnica SpA.

Over the following ten years, Tecnica expanded its business, producing and innovating ski boots, and creating the first Moon Boot®, that became an icon of the twentieth century, with more than 25 million pairs sold.

In 1985 Tecnica entered the outdoor footwear market, bringing innovative spirit to a new range of products, and soon becoming one of the main players as a Group.

In 2002, the acquisition of another top brand of winter sports equipment, Nordica, born in 1939, made Tecnica Group the first world producer of ski boots.

In 2003, the product range was extended further with the arrival of Rollerblade, the inventor of inline skating, first manufacturer in the world and the sector’s leading brand, which had been able to became a synonym to the whole sport.

The latest arrival in 2006 has been the Austrian brand Blizzard – a historic trademark in the world of skiing – that has strengthened Tecnica Group’s international leadership in the field.

In 2019 the group has acquired Riko Sport, Lowa's main footwear supplier.
