The largest rooftop solar array in Manitoba was unveiled in May in the City of Selkirk. The 200 KW system is expected to cut the city's energy costs by 16%. Source: CBC News
Shady Creek Lamb Company and EDF Renewables have formed a win-win partnership in the Ottawa-area. Instead of mowing the grass with machines, sheep roam the area and munch on the grass and plants around the panels. The sheep get more space to roam and keep the panels free of shade from over-grown plants.

The town of Raymond, AB is aiming to become the first municipality in Canada to be entirely powered by the sun. The town is currently in the process of installing about 2,700 solar panels on all of its municipal buildings, which will help power municipal buildings and street lighting. Source: Anadolu Agency

The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in Tennessee is now the first airport in the U.S. to be powered solely by solar! The 2.64 MW project has onsite batteries to store excess energy to help power the airport at night. The entire project took nine years to complete and is expected to last between 30 and 40 years.
