HVIP ZEV Funding Available for Small Fleets
The Innovative Small E-Fleet (ISEF) Set-Aside is a small funding source separate from the larger HVIP program exclusively for small fleets.
Voucher applications will open at 1pm on Wednesday, August 31.
A fleet with 20 or fewer trucks and less than $15 million in revenue can qualify for ISEF funding for Class 6-8 zero-emission trucks and for zero-emission charging infrastructure. There is a total $25 million available on a first-come, first served basis.
Class 6-7 trucks have a maximum voucher amount of $170,000 and Class 8 trucks have a maximum voucher amount of $240,000.

Step by step process:
- ISEF program opens for voucher requests August 1 at 1pm
- Eligible small fleet can browse HVIP website to determine which Provider offers a solution that meets their needs
- Provider coordinates with HVIP approved dealer to submit a voucher request that identifies an eligible small fleet end user. If Provider is also an HVIP approved dealer, Provider will complete this task and all other HVIP approved dealer tasks below.)
- HVIP approved dealer order the vehicle, submits signed voucher request form and signed terms and conditions, and receives a voucher.
- Vehicle is built/delivered to approved dealer.
