At CTA, safety is our top priority. That's why every year we honor the men and women in trucking with the Driver of the Month Program. This program recognizes the valuable contributions of our truck drivers to ensure we have the safest roads on the state and the nation. The drivers of the month program winners were announced during award ceremonies held in the Southern and Northern part of the state.

The DOM South Ceremony took place on November 5 in Pomona. The ceremony hosted drivers and their loved ones who were there to recognize the achievements of their family, friends and colleagues. Jose Villalobosrueda with FedEx Freight, Inc. took the award for 2022 Driver of the Year South.

The honor for the 2022 Driver of the Year Award (North) went to Curtis Richardson with Dependable Highway Express (DHE) at ceremony in Sacramento on November 12. In addition to serving as the award announcer, this is the second year in a row that a driver from DHE has received this prestigious recognition.

We would like to thank CTA staff, volunteers, sponsors and most importantly our drivers who ensure safety is a top priority in our industry each and every year.
