Secure File Transfer (SFT)- International Registration Plan (IRP) Applications
In an effort to provide trucking companies with a more efficient way to process IRP applications CTA and DMV have established the SFT/IRP Pilot program. The CA DMV utilizes SFT with external customers, allowing entities to securely submit large quantities of electronic data to the department. Trucking companies (customer) are able to load data into the SFT site and the CA DMV is able to retrieve that data for internal processing.
