Tri-County Unit: Truck Driver Appreciation Day Recap

Members of the Tri-County Unit partnered with the California Highway Patrol Coastal Division for their annual Truck Driver Appreciation Day at the Conejo Law Enforcement Inspection Facility on Friday, September 16, 2016. Free barbecue sandwiches, chips, and cold drinks were donated by members Velocity Truck Center and Sysco. Lunch was served to over 200 drivers. Members from the Velocity Truck Group, Certified Freight Logistics, Inc. and McCarty & Sons Towing were on hand to assist in serving the drivers. Representatives with the Air Resource Board, PrePass and officers with the Motor Carrier CIEP program were there to offer information to the drivers.
