CTA Worked with Caltrans to Establish Winter Road Closure Process

If you transport goods on the I-80 corridor, specifically operating EB and WB IE: Colfax/Nevada border please read the following information
A few CTA members brought to our attention issues associated with the many days that I-80 (specifically EB and WB IE: Colfax/Reno) was closed due to inclement weather conditions. The closures affected their ability to transport goods to their customers in a timely manner. In some cases customers were assessing "delay" charges to the trucking companies.
CTA worked with Caltrans on providing information on days I-80 was closed or trucks were being held. Feel free to utilize this information in conversations with your customers.
