This is your chance to be recognized by the top State Law Enforcement Agency in the nation. Don't miss this opportunity to be recognized in front of hundreds of trucking companies and dignitaries by the California Highway Patrol for being a STAR Award winner. When applying be sure to include all of the safety programs you have implemented at your company. This includes, technology, team/driver safety meetings, driving programs IE: Smith Systems. Also, if you are active in your community let them know!!!!!!
The CHP is accepting applications to be considered for the 2017 STAR Awards. The STAR Awards formally recognize California motor carriers and drivers in the truck and bus industry for their efforts in making safety a priority in their day-to-day operations.
Winners will be recognized during this year's Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit where they will receive an award and a picture with the Commissioner of the California Highway Patrol. The deadline to submit an application is August 31, 2017.
