REMINDER- Electronic Logging Device Implementation for Intrastate Drivers

CTA has been receiving a few calls from members asking when the ELD mandate will be implemented (enforceable) in California for intrastate drivers. As was reported previously, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) has until February of 2019 to adopt and implement the ELD regulations for purely intrastate drivers. However, CTA is advising intrastate drivers to be prepared leading up to February 2019, the CHP could adopt them earlier than February. CTA will continue to update members as things progress.
