The Northern and Southern Safety Councils met this month. The topic for each meeting was Heat Illness Prevention and the Trucking Industry. Jerry Bach with the Safety Center presented at the Northern Safety Council at CTA in Sacramento. Pictured below is Gilbert Martinez with Cal/OSHA who spoke to the Southern Safety Council at JJT Logistics in Ontario.
The LA/Orange SP Committee met at the Double Tree in Norwalk on June 14. The group discussed topics for their next unit meeting on August 8 and other trucking related issues.
