New Southbound Vehicle Lanes Open at Calexico West Land Port of Entry

On Tuesday, July 10, 2018, as part of the Calexico West Land Port of Entry (LPOE) renovation and expansion project, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) will open three southbound vehicle lanes and a bridge which lead into Mexico.
What: GSA will open three newly constructed southbound vehicle lanes and a new bridge which cross the New River at the Calexico West LPOE as part of the renovation and expansion project. Southbound travelers currently using vehicle lanes at State Highway 111 (also known as Imperial Avenue) should follow street signs which direct traffic west along 2nd Street to the entryway of new southbound lanes (at Cesar Chavez Boulevard).
Where: Calexico West LPOE southbound vehicle lanes leading to Mexicali, Baja, California, located at the intersection of 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Boulevard.
