CTA recently checked in with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) on the implementation and enforcement status for the use of ELD’s for intrastate operators. According to the CHP they are still anticipating sometime in 2020 for implementation. As has been reported by CTA previously, because of the required economic impact report for any state regulation CHP has put out an RFP to study the economic impact.
