Proposed CARB Regulation Will Impact Large Companies

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is currently developing the proposed Advanced Clean Truck Regulation, which would require truck manufacturers to sell a percentage of zero-emission vehicles in the State.
CARB has also proposed a fleet reporting requirement as part of this regulation that could apply to entities with California gross receipts greater than $50 million annually, motor carriers, freight forwarders and brokers that own or dispatch 100 or more trucks, port terminal operators, Federal, state, county, and city fleets, utilities, and refuse/recycling services. This fleet reporting requirement would provide CARB more information to develop future zero-emission fleet rules.
CARB will be taking feedback on the reporting requirement during their public workshop on June 20. If your company has 100 or more trucks or is a large company that utilizes medium or heavy duty vehicles, this requirement will impact you and we urge you to attend this workshop.
The workshop will be held at the following time and place:
Date: Thursday, June 20, 2019
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (PST)
Place: CalEPA Headquarters
