CTA Mourns the Loss of Longtime CHP MCS Personnel

CTA is saddened to report the death of CHP’s Motor Carrier Safety Program (MCSP) Manager Cullen Sisskind. Mr. Sisskind passed away peacefully on July 21, 2019, following a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife Debi. Mr. Sisskind will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Mr. Sisskind began his career with the Department as a Motor Carrier Specialist (MCS) I on July 1, 1992, in Border Division. He promoted to MCS II on June 1, 2001, serving at CVS and Valley Division, then promoted to MCS III on November 30, 2007, returning to CVS. Mr. Sisskind promoted to MCSP Manager on July 1, 2012.
CTA appreciates the tremendous working relationship it had with Cullen. At the request of Mr. Sisskind and his wife, Debi, no services will be held.
