Be Recognized For Your Company’s Safety Efforts
Each year we make available an application for our annual Fleet Safety Awards program. The purpose of the Fleet Safety program is to recognize companies that reduce accidents by designing and running a top notch safety program. Applications are then submitted back to us with the requested information.
Applicants are scored on the following criteria:
- Safety Management System (SMS) basic status
- Safety Program
- Frequency and content of safety meetings
- Accident frequency rate(number of accidents x 1,000,000/California miles)
Scoring is done by a panel of outside judges comprised of CHP, DMV,FMCSA, and safety professionals. The top 3 companies from each category are notified that they won and will be honored at the annual Fleet Safety Awards Banquet on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento.
All Fleet Safety applications are due this Friday, March 3, 2017 by 5 p.m. to Nicole Toms.
