CTA’s ongoing effort to provide its members information regarding the implementation of the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) rule continued this week during the Safety, Security and Human Resources Policy Committee meeting that was held during the California Trucking Association’s Policy and Executive Committee meetings. FMCSA’s Division Administrator Steve Mattioli provided members of the Committee a presentation on the rule that goes in effect for interstate operators December 18th, 2017. In addition to the ELD presentation , Division Administrator Mattioli provided information regarding the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and Entry Level Driver Training rules.
