Recently, a CTA member whose company participates in the DMV Employer Testing Program (ETP) made us aware of the extreme delays some of their drivers were facing when trying to get their motor vehicle records (MVRs) updated. CTA has been engaged with the DMV since becoming aware of the delays and has been working with the Department on getting the MVRs updated. Because of CTA’s engagement on the issue, DMV has provided additional resources to the division that handles the ETP to assist with expediting the backlog of driver MVRs.
