Please Consider Supporting Truckers Against Trafficking

As you know, the California Trucking Association (CTA) and many of its members have been longtime supporters of Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT). Since its inception, CTA and its members have contributed over $25,000 to TAT to help fund their efforts on combating human trafficking. TAT is raising up a mobile army of transportation professionals to assist law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking, in order to aid in the recovery of victims and the arrests of their perpetrators. Recently, their Executive Director and co-founder Kendis Paris was awarded the Presidential Award for Extraordinary Efforts to Combat Trafficking in Persons by the U.S. State Department.

The non-profit N2 Gives recently announced a matching grant to TAT of up to $75,000. TAT has until December 31st to raise the money to try and match the $75,000 offer from N2Gives. As a friend and supporter of TAT, CTA is asking if your company might consider contributing to TAT so they can reach their goal.
