The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its guidance on facility cleaning. These guidelines include everyday steps to take, what to do when someone is sick, and additional considerations for employers.
The DMV is offering eligible Californians more time to complete driver license renewals due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CDL holders have an extension through September 30, 2020; the extension is automatic and there is no action necessary on the part of the driver. Learn more about what extensions are available. To save time and a trip out to a DMV field office, the DMV encourages all eligible drivers to renew their license through the DMV Virtual Office. Governor Gavin Newsom has signed executive orders waiving in-person renewals for eligible driver’s license and identification cardholders who had reached their maximum of out-of-office renewals. Some drivers still must visit a field office to complete their transaction. DMV field office employees are assisting customers with appointments at the specific office or with limited transactions that require an in-person visit.
