CTA joined the American Trucking Associations, the California Chamber of Commerce and more than 320 local, state, and federal trade associations on a letter urging the administration's assistance in preventing a rail strike.
In the letter, more than 323 organization ask President Biden to continue to work with the railroad unions and railroads to see negotiations to a finish in order to avoid a rail shutdown, which "would have a significant impact on the U.S. economy and lead to further inflationary pressure."
