The Central Valley Unit, San Joaquin Unit and the California Highway Patrol will be hosting their Truck Driver Appreciation Day event on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Chowchilla River Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility.
Come enjoy the day with us as we recognize the efforts of the professional truck driver. There will be free food and refreshments, driver safety and industry information, and displays and presentations by members of the commercial industry and law enforcement. Register Now for Friday's Clays Shoot
Register now for the October 7, 2016. The Sporting Clays Shoot will be at the Kern County Gun Club: 12450 Shotgun Road, Bakersfield, CA 93311. Proceeds will benefit disabled and disadvantaged children, disabled veterans and other persons and groups in need throughout Kern County. This year's Kern Unit Clays Shoot will be the best ever! We have over $6,000.00 in a drawing for prizes, which include guns, a gun safe, Santa Maria BBQ, and much more. Top off your day with a great New York steak dinner with your favorite beer or wine. Sacramento Unit is having a lunch meeting and unit election October 18 at CTA Headquarters, Sacramento. Speaker RJ Cervantes, Director of Legislative Affairs, will review emerging regulatory and legislative threats to your business, and discuss what CTA is doing to battle them. Join us at our Annual "Truckin' For Kids" Charity Truck Show and Poker Run on Saturday, October 8th in Pomona, at the Osterkamp Trucking Center, 1350 Philadelphia. Drivers entry includes BBQ lunch. Poker Run entry included, with $150 Cash for 1st, and cash payouts to 2nd and 3rd best poker hands. Top Ten Awards, plus Sponsors Choice, live band, and kids zone. Lupita Flores, Membership & Marketing Manager Start Date: October 2008 Meet Lupita Flores! Lupita has been a staff member of CTA for 8 years. She held a position in the Membership Department and was recently promoted to Membership & Marketing Manager. Her responsibilities include management of the Circle Club Partner program, social media administrator, Allied member inquiries, maintenance of the CTA website and website advertising.
