At the recent Annual Membership Conference’s Board meeting CTA presented a check to the Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) $6900. Bruce MacRae (UPS), Board Member of TAT accepted the check on behalf of TAT. The contribution was from the CTA Unit Challenge and the Units as always stepped up. Since 2011, CTA and its Units have given $38,800 to TAT! CTA was the first State Trucking Association to partner with TAT as well as the first to make a financial contribution.

The California Trucking Association (CTA) announced its new executive leadership team for 2017. Douglas S. Britton assumes the role of president and former CTA President Mike Yadon will now serve as Chairman.

The CTA Leadership Academy was designed to provide the next generation of leaders with the skills to become the most effective leader possible, and to prepare them to serve their companies, communities the industry and their association in a more effective manner.
