CTA in Action: Government Affairs Update
In response to last year’s CTA sponsored bill , AB 301 (Rodriguez & Patterson) the DMV has made adjustments to their staffing statewide at their Commercial Drive Testing Facilities. DMV has made a commitment to the trucking industry to lower the appointment wait times that previously were anywhere from 45-90 days. Because of the staffing adjustments that DMV has implemented each facility is 20 or less days for a driver to be able to take their drive test. Assembly members Rodriguez and Patterson as well as CTA are still committed to lowering the wait time even further and will continue to work with DMV on making improvements. For more information contact Eric Sauer at esauer@caltrux.org. Click on the link to view the wait times - CDL Appointments
