WEFTEC ran virtually this year from October 5th to 9th. CWWA partnered with Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade to host a morning session. The session was designed for Canadian businesses looking to expand their offerings into the U.S. market. The session began with a presentation from Canada’s Ambassador for Climate Change, Patricia Fuller who outlined the shared challenges. CWWA’s executive director Robert Haller then spoke to some of the differences and similarities between the water scene in Canada versus that in the U.S. The session ended with a presentation on water issues in the oil and gas sector by Dr. Joshua Rhodes. The event was moderated by Water Canada magazine’s Andrew Macklin.
