Water Haller: Have a Safe and Happy Holiday!

Well, the new face of COVID hits us just in time to ruin Christmas – just ask our members doing the wastewater testing. We all hope we don’t go back to the lockdowns we endured at the beginning, but if we do, we know we are ready and able. As water and wastewater workers, we are in the healthcare sector and we must continue to be diligent in following all safety protocols and caring for ourselves. The health of our communities depend on us staying healthy and keeping our critical systems in place.
Don’t forget, you are not alone. There are tremendous resources on our website and on each of your provincial/regional association websites. Then, of course, there is our worldwide network of water professionals. The best part of being in a professional association is the networks we build - knowing we can call ANYONE and ask ANY questions.
The National!
The other great part of being in a professional association is the learning and knowledge sharing. I know, it’s not as good as being at a live event, but we can still find time to learn and we can still find ways to network.
PLEASE JOIN US for the virtual NWWC in January. As always, we have a really solid program with leading presenters on the most relevant topics of our industry. We start January 11th and run every Tuesday and Thursday until February 3rd. We wrap up on Feb 3rd with my best attempt at hosting "Robert’s Virtual Hospitality Suite” open to all delegates who sign up for any session.
