The draft "Technical Guidance for Assessing Cumulative Environmental Effects under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012" is now available in the Policy and Guidance section of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) Web site. 

The Technical Guidance complements the Agency’s Operational Policy Statement, "Assessing Cumulative Environmental Effects under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012." It provides technical options and considerations to support the implementation of the Scoping and Analysis steps of the Operational Policy Statement. The Agency invites you to provide comments on the draft Technical Guidance. This comment opportunity is for a six-month period and will ensure that direction on assessing cumulative environmental effects remains robust and includes the views of stakeholders.
