Prince Edward Island Environmental Protection Act Drinking Water and Wastewater Facility Operating Regulations Amendment was published in the August 8, 2015 edition of the Royal Gazette. Changes include in part:
Section 1 amends a number of definitions, adds a definition for "operator-in-charge" and repeals definitions of "small public drinking water supply facility" and "small waste water collection facility" as these terms are no longer used in the Environmental Protection Act.
- Section 4 requires the designation of an operator-in-charge of a facility and replaces references to "operator" with "operator in charge"
- .Section 5 provides exceptions to section 4 to permit the owner of a Class A water distribution facility to designate a person with certain plumbing qualifications as the operator-in-charge of a Class A water distribution facility
