Ontario Regulation 91/14, Amending O. Reg. 260/08 Performance Standards, pursuant to the Professional Engineers Act, was published in the April 12, 2014 edition of The Ontario Gazette. The amendments, in part:

• address engineering evaluation reports under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002; officially recognize the provincial building code; and
• prescribe performance standards with respect to the preparation and provision by a professional engineer of a design for the construction, enlargement or alteration of a building described in paragraph 2 of subsection 12(6) of the act.

The amendments come into force July 1, 2014.
