The Canadian Water and Wastewater Association is pleased to announce its partnership with SanEcoTec Ltd. in naming AVIVE™ Water, for the 16th Canadian Conference on Drinking Water.
This biennial Conference is sponsored by the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Committee on Drinking Water (CDW), which establishes the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality.
The Conference provides the opportunity for water quality professionals and stakeholders to share current science and industry perspectives on issues related to safe drinking water.
"We face significant challenges as an industry," said Robert Haller, Executive Director of the Association and Chair of the Conference. "And having an industry innovator like AVIVE™ involved in solving these challenges is exactly the kind of energy we want connected to this important event."
AVIVE™ has been called one of the most significant innovations in municipal drinking water since the introduction of chlorine as a primary disinfectant more than a century ago. The AVIVE™ water treatment process represents a new viable disinfection alternative for communities, homes and farms that are grappling with the potentially adverse health implications associated with trihalomethanes and other chlorine-related byproducts.
"AVIVE™ lives true to our statement Healthy Water. Better Life," said Els Vanbeckevoort, Founder and CEO of SanEcoTec. "We are delighted to be a part of this Conference – in many ways: To share in the industry’s progress in developing more sustainable and Healthy Water practices. And to present the advances in science on some of the AVIVE™ components, such as its choice of stabilized peroxide and application in the field over the past two years.
"Our aim now and going forward is to meet the test of economic viability and environmental integrity that supports health and wellness. We think advances like these are what makes this year’s Conference so important."
Join the community of professionals who will gather at the 16th Canadian National Conference on Drinking Water at the Hilton Lac Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec from October 26 to 29, 2014.
