The Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) recently posted online a July 7, 2015 letter from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) regarding requirements under the Environmental Bill of Rights for the posting of wastewater Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) applications on the registry.

The purpose of the letter is to advise organizations and their members of changes related to which types of wastewater ECA applications under the Ontario Water Resources Act and the Environmental Protection Act will require posting on the Environmental Registry (registry) in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993 (EBR).
